Birds with major digestive disorders should be fed Special Needs Diet (original formulation). Use of that product as 100% of the diet for many years (4-6) will eventually lead to a build up of fat in the liver. So, as their condition stabilizes you should slowly switch to Special needs Diet 2. Start by mixing the two products 75:25 for a week then go to 50:50, then 25:75 then 100% Special Needs Diet 2. Monitor your birds condition during this process.

Special Needs Diet application:Dissolve in water at the rate of 50g of Special Needs Diet to 180mls of water.
Active ingredients:Vitamin A – 12,500, vitamin D3 – 1500ius, vitamin E – 30ius. Also includes Vitamin K, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Thiamine, Pyroxidine, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Choline Bitartrate and Biotin.
Active ingredients continued:Minerals include selenium, iron, cobalt, manganese, copper, magnesium, zinc, sulphur, sodium and iodine. Protein 14% (min), Fibre 1.5% (min), Fat 4.4% (min). Energy 16,342 Kj per Kg.
